Jake OConnell
Chief Executive Officer
Jake holds a degree in Computer Information Systems from Bentley University. Throughout his career, he has held various roles including Founder and Head of Product in the technology and startup industry. In 2019, Jake was among the first employees and Director of Business Intelligence at 3STEP Sports, a Boston-based sports company. He helped build the company to a $250M business by 2022.
Jake was also part of the founding team and Head of Product at insurtech startup, Certificate Hero. He built the company's initial POC and was a part of the executive team that raised $6.5M over two years to build a cutting-edge Certificate of Insurance issuance platform.
At Twelve55, Jake is responsible for the technical side of all software development projects, including hands-on coding, architecture, and project management.
Nic OConnell
President, Chief Operating Officer
Nic graduated from Bentley University with a degree in Business Management. Through his varied experience at startups and large publicly traded companies, he has demonstrated expertise in Product and Project Management, notably as the Product Manager for a prominent financial services startup in Boston, aiding its growth to 100,000+ members and $800 million in loans secured.
Additionally, Nic contributed significantly to Boston Scientific's Data Analytics and Insights team, serving as a Product Manager on a vital workforce planning project.
At Twelve55, Nic oversees all company operations, incluing product management across all Twelve55 projects. He also serves as the project and account manager for new clients, ensuring seamless integration and satisfaction.
