PKS Associates, the 2nd largest Deputy Collector in Massachusetts, has engaged Twelve55 in a long-term contract to help them with a company-wide software transformation project. Together, we are documenting PKS's current software systems, identifying areas for improvement, and building a roadmap for the future. We are also helping PKS with the implementation of new software systems.
detailed description
A very common process in the software development industry is: (1) understand some complicated software or system, (2) add a feature to or fix a problem in that software, and (3) ship the new software. In our engagement with PKS, we are following a similar process, but at a much larger scale. We are working with PKS to understand their entire software ecosystem, identify areas for improvement, and then design and build a new, more efficient, and more automated software suite.
This is a long-term engagement, with a multi-month discovery and documentation phase followed by an engineering-intensive implementation phase. We are excited to be working with PKS and are looking forward to the future of this project.
